Danhausen won a major championship and had a great time, but it was not in AEW. This was a match that was most looked forward to.
The AEW star became the new OTT Wrestling’s NLW Ireland Champion. He had a match against Renzo Rose at Scrappermania which took place at the National Stadium in Dublin. The bout was a treat and Very Nice Very Evil picked up the win.
After the match ended, Danhausen took to his X (fka Twitter) account to post a picture with the newly won title along with a short message.
“Danhausen successful in destroying Robert Rose’ and becoming the @OTT_wrestling NLW Ireland champion of Ireland,” he wrote.

The 33-year-old star has not been seen in AEW for a while and given that he is now an active champion in Over The Top Wrestling, we may not be seeing him in the Jacksonville-based promotion for a while.
Danhausen sends a message to Ethan Page
Former AEW star Ethan Page is currently having a new lease of life in WWE as the NXT Champion. That was well deserved as he clearly possesses the talent.
He and Danhausen were good friends in AEW and it looks like their bond remains the same, despite working for different companies. Page posted a picture on Twitter with his NXT Championship to which the enigmatic star wrote back saying his shirt was broken.
Page replied notifying Very Nice Very Evil that it was hot in Florida and that was the reason. The face-painted star then responded hilariously thanking the champion for the clarification and that he understood.
“Ah yes, I understand thank you for clarifications,” he wrote.
The two stars have constant banter on social media and this was yet another display of that. It is great to see them still share the same friendship and not let working in different companies come in the way.
It will be interesting to see when the AEW star will be making a comeback given that he has not been seen in the company for a long time.
