The currently absent top AEW star, Darby Allin seemingly expressed his thoughts on another top star winning the TNT Championship after Adam Copeland (fka Edge) had to vacate it. Allin shared a five-word message through social media.

Jack Perry became the new TNT Champion by overcoming five other men in a spot-filled ladder match at the recent Forbidden Door pay-per-view. This was the first-ever singles title for Perry in his All Elite Wrestling career. Interestingly, he captured the vacant title Copeland had relinquished after suffering an injury during his steel cage match against Malakai Black at Double or Nothing.

Meanwhile, the former two-time TNT Champion, Darby Allin seemingly expressed his reaction to Perry winning the title. He took to X (formerly Twitter) to repost one of his older posts from 2021, where professional skater Tony Hawk can be seen skating wearing the TNT Championship, held by Allin at the time. He wrote that he missed the title, soon after the new champion had been crowned.

"I miss that TNT championship," he wrote.

Adam Copeland provides a health update amid his absence

Adam Copeland recently gave unfortunate news regarding his injury after Double or Nothing. He said he was expected to be out of action indefinitely.

Nonetheless, Copeland recently provided some updates on his road to recovery in an interview with Sports Illustrated. He acknowledged his age and said he'd had several surgeries before and was expecting a difficult road to recovery ahead, despite a successful procedure. He also hoped his body would cope well.

“My achilles tear a few years ago led to my most difficult rehab, and I’m expecting more of that. I’m 50. I know what’s in front of me. But the surgery was successful, and the doctor was optimistic because my bones are healthy. It’s my seventh surgery, so I know the drill. We’ll see how my body cooperates,” he said.

Moreover, The Rated R Superstar is expected to be out of action for months until full recovery. Only time will tell when he will return to AEW and what Tony Khan will have in store for him at the time.
