Former AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin has shared visually disturbing pictures from his recent outing in the Anarchy in The Arena Match at Double or Nothing. The former World Tag Team Champion teamed up with Bryan Danielson, Dax Harwood, and Cash Wheeler to take on Team Elite (Kazuchika Okada, The Young Bucks, and Jack Perry) at the recent pay-per-view.
The match proved to be a hellacious affair, and The Elite emerged victorious in the end. One of the most gut-wrenching spots in the match came towards the end when The Young Bucks hung Darby Allin upside down in the ring and superkicked the latter with thumbtack-loaded boots.
Interestingly, this was Darby Allin's first in-ring performance since March 2024 due to injury-related issues. The former TNT Champion recently took to Instagram to share pictures of the above-mentioned spot and his injured nose. The 31-year-old also revealed that his doctor had advised him to ''be careful'' with his nose as it had not fully recovered. For those unaware, Allin injured his nose earlier this year after being hit by a bus in New York.
''That awkward moment when the nose doctor clears you and says, 'Be careful since the nose isn't fully recovered,' but you get superkicked in the face with shoes that have thumbtacks glued to the bottom of them while being hung upside down,'' Darby wrote.

Darby Allin has suffered multiple injuries in recent months
As mentioned above, the former AEW World Tag Team Champion has been hit with multiple injuries in recent times. Allin broke his foot during a singles match on Dynamite in March. He was subsequently hit by a bus in New York City. The injury forced him to postpone his plans to climb Mt. Everest.
Darby has often come under the scanner of wrestling veterans for the risky spots that he performs inside the squared circle. The talented AEW star has pushed the envelope to insane heights when it comes to taking risks during his matches. With him recently suffering multiple injuries, it will be interesting to see if he tones down his style in the upcoming months.
