During his time in AEW, CM Punk made several lasting friendships. Among them was The House of Black's Brody King and Punk's first All Elite opponent, Darby Allin. The Second City Saint posted a picture of his former comrades on Instagram today, and fans have reacted.
CM Punk has always been a polarizing figure in wrestling, but that was never more true than when he was in AEW. The 45-year-old made several enemies in the Jacksonville-based promotion's locker room, but he also found some kindred spirits.
Like Punk, Darby Allin and Brody King are straight-edge. That, combined with their alternative styles, likely brought them together during The Second City Saint's time in the company. Amid CM Punk's photo dump on Instagram today, he included a shot of the three of them together.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
Fans were ecstatic to see Darby and Brody in Punk's Instagram dump. Many were enthusiastic about the potential of Darby Allin in WWE, while others compared the photo to Drew McIntyre's recent snap with Jack Perry.

CM Punk crashes AEW star's interview at San Diego Comic-Con
Darby Allin and Brody King weren't CM Punk's only friends in AEW. The Straight Edge Superstar also developed close ties with FTR, Ricky Starks, and Danhausen. The latter has remained in contact with Punk, and the two can sometimes be seen giving each other shout-outs on social media.
Punk took it a step further at this past weekend's San Diego Comic-Con. Danhausen, who has been absent from AEW TV lately, was being interviewed by Denise Salcedo when The Second City Saint randomly showed up.
Punk has had a lot to say about his time in All Elite Wrestling, and not all of it has been nice. However, both parties seem to have moved on, and with both WWE and AEW enjoying some momentum right now, the situation may have worked out for the best.
