A member of The Death Riders picked up a dominant victory over a former AEW champion this week on Dynamite. The talent in question, Claudio Castagnoli, has now commented on his vicious performance in the bout.
The Swiss Cyborg faced off against Darby Allin on the November 20, 2024, edition of Dynamite, days ahead of the Tony Khan-led promotion's upcoming Full Gear pay-per-view. The bout was the culmination of the former TNT Champion interfering in The Death Riders' ongoing war against the All Elite locker-room, and going after Castagnoli in particular in recent weeks.
The King of Swing took on the 31-year-old star in a brutal battle on Dynamite earlier in the night. Despite fighting back relentlessly in signature fashion, Allin went on to sustain a lot of damage from Castagnoli during their match. In a particularly brutal spot, the AEW World Trios Champion pressed Allin and tossed him from the commentary desk onto a table in the timekeepers' area. He finally secured the win over the Washington native with a devastating lariat.
Sometime after Dynamite, Claudio Castagnoli quote tweeted a clip of the aforementioned table spot involving Darby Allin, dubbing the latter a "non-believer," and indicating that he had been punished for opposing The Death Riders and Jon Moxley.

"Punish the non believers #ForTheOneTrueKing," wrote Castagnoli.

The Death Riders also ambushed Orange Cassidy on AEW Dynamite
In the main event of tonight's Dynamite, Orange Cassidy took on Wheeler Yuta in singles action. He succeeded in defeating his former protege, but would afterward be attacked by Yuta's teammates from The Death Riders. OC's long-time rival PAC then tied up the former International Champion with tape as Claudio Castagnoli restrained him.
The heel faction, led by Jon Moxley, would then proceed to further beat down Cassidy, who had no help as he had requested his Conglomeration stable-mates to stay in the back earlier in the show. After The Death Riders left the ring, Mark Briscoe, Kyle O'Reilly, Tomohiro Ishii, and Rocky Romero rushed to free the Freshly Squeezed star, who pulled himself to his feet and stared down Moxley to close the show.
It remains to be seen if Orange Cassidy will be able to dethrone Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear 2024.
