A Death Riders member suffered a huge loss on AEW Dynamite. Claudio Castagnoli was leading the Continental Classic's Gold League with six points ahead of the Winter Is Coming special. He was undefeated in the tournament after picking victories against Ricochet and Brody King.

The Swiss Superman had to face Will Ospreay in his third contest. Meanwhile, the latter defeated Juice Robinson in the opening round and garnered three points on the November 30, 2024 edition of AEW Collision. Unfortunately, Robinson injured his leg and has been sidelined for months.
The Aerial Assassin returned to AEW Dynamite tonight and faced Claudio Castagnoli in his second contest. The contest saw both the stars trying to gain an advantage over each other from the opening bell. After an intense war, Ospreay managed to pick up a second victory in the Continental Classic tournament.

Following the match, a frustrated Claudio beat the former International Champion and grabbed a chair. However, he was stopped by his arch-nemesis, Darby Allin. The Relentless star will face Will Ospreay on next week's Dynamite.
Will and Claudio have earned six points each in the Gold League. It will be interesting to see who will be the table topper next week.
