A top star from AEW recently made a huge appearance outside the Jacksonville-based promotion. The star has been absent from AEW TV for almost seven months.
Ricky Starks was last seen on AEW TV on the March 30, 2024, edition of Collision. His last match in the promotion was a tag team affair alongside Big Bill against Top Flight (Dante Martin and Darius Martin). Stroke Daddy also had a match against Q.T. Marshall at the BTW Welcome To Paradise event in May 2024.
The Absolute star recently made a surprise appearance at Glory Pro Wrestling's South Nightmare on Broadway show in St. Louis, MO, and Speared Sean Logan (who resembled a bit like Seth Rollins). Ricky then got on the mic and challenged an old rival, Kody Lane, to a match at Glory Pro's WrestlePocalypse on November 24.
"I'm going to prove something a lot of people may have forgotten about me," Starks said. "I am the man. I am the one. And most importantly, I'm Absolute, baby," he said during the show.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.

Female Indie star wants an intergender match against AEW's Ricky Starks
Female Indie star Allie Katch has featured in several intergender matches during her legendary career. The Texan star recently said that she would like to have an intergender match against Ricky Starks.
In a recent virtual signing event with K&S WrestleFest, she named Stroke Daddy one of his dream opponents alongside other popular names in the wrestling business.
"Rhea Ripley, Mercedes Mone, and Toni Storm. I want to wrestle Ricky Starks, obviously. It'll happen one day, and Roxanne. I never got to have one with Roxanne," she said.
The 30-year-old female wrestler is currently working for Game Changer Wrestling (GCW). Katch has previously wrestled in Tony Khan's company. She competed on the September 21, 2021, episode of AEW Dark in a losing effort against Big Swole.
