Details on Samoa Joe and Adam Copeland’s (FKA Edge) backstage attitude in AEW

Samoa Joe and Adam Copeland are two of the top names in AEW right now. Both are former WWE stars and have been stalwarts in the wrestling industry for multiple years.

The Samoan Submission Machine became All Elite in 2022 and made his debut in April of the same year while WWE Hall of Famer, who went by the name Edge in WWE, joined Tony Khan's roster in October 2023.

AEW personality Tony Schiavone appeared on the What Happened When? podcast. During the conversation, he revealed some details on Samoa Joe and Adam Copeland’s backstage attitude in the Jacksonville-based promotion.

“I say this 100 million times, if everybody in wrestling had the attitude of Edge [Adam Copeland] and Samoa Joe, we would all be millionaires. Never seen two guys with a better attitude in my life, just professional absolutely. That’s not a knock on anybody else, but those are the two that come to mind. Gangrel comments on Adam Copeland's injury

At Double or Nothing 2024, Adam Copeland took on Malakai Black in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match. During the bout, Gangrel also made an appearance and helped The Rated-R Superstar fight off the House of Black members.

Speaking in an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, he commented on Adam's injury which he sustained at the Double or Nothing event.

"It looked higher. Maybe that's what happened when he got up there I don't know. I love him to death and I'm sorry it happened to him. I can't thank him enough for thinking of me and bringing the whole Brood thing full circle and coming out there and having that moment. Thank you and you know whatever it was 25 years later," he stated.

Gangrel used to work together with Copeland in WWE during the Attitude Era. He was the leader of the faction called The Brood. Christian Cage was also a member of the stable.
