Former WWE star Dijak recently spoke about various topics after his recent contract expiration. The veteran also opened up about his real-life issues with AEW star Kenny Omega.
Dijak is officially a free agent after WWE chose not to renew his contract. The former T-Bar had an interesting run with the promotion and the highlight of his career with the global juggernaut was mainly his NXT run. The former RETRIBUTION member was briefly on the main roster from 2020 to 2021, however, he suffered from poor booking.
Speaking in an exclusive chat with Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp, Dijak addressed his beef with Kenny Omega and stated that it doesn't bother him. He further clarified that he will not hesitate to fire back if someone takes a shot at him or a roster that he works with.
"Kenny [Omega] and I, as far as I know, we have no animosity towards one another. When that happen, he made the initial statement. It doesn’t bother me either way. I heard the interview or saw the transcription, and he was taking shots at a roster that I was part of. So, I took shots back because that’s what I’ll always do. I don’t care if Vince McMahon took a shot at me. I would tweet at Vince McMahon. If someone comes at me, I’m always going to defend myself and it will always be lighthearted."

Despite their differences, Dijak praised Kenny Omega and called him one of the best wrestlers in the world.
"I have the utmost respect for Kenny and everyone else in AEW. I have never said otherwise. He’s one of the best wrestlers in the world and I respect him, Cody, and everyone who created AEW. I will never change my viewpoint. I will also never back down from an altercation." [H/T:Fightful]
In 2019 both NXT and AEW Dynamite went head-to-head on Wednesday nights, during which Omega took shots at the NXT roster, and soon Dijak responded to The Cleaner's claims.
Dutch Mantell believes Triple H could rehire Dijak to the WWE
Former WWE star Dijak has been the talk of the town lately after his recent departure from the Stamford-based promotion.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell questioned the hype behind Dijak while predicting that Triple H might bring the former star back after he spends some time on the independent circuit.
"I don't know what they saw in him, but if Triple H is sitting, he could be driving one day and says, 'Damn, I need a guy.' And all of a sudden, Dijak, 'Damn, that Dijak guy.' They can make the call to him and get him back in. His entrance back in could be as perplexing as his exit. So, they are gone for a year, and when they come back, they repackage him, and he is off to the races." [From 01:07:50 to 01:08:20]
Dijak is one of the best performers in professional wrestling who unfortunately suffered from a lack of creative direction in the WWE. It will be interesting to see what's next for the former NXT star.
