WCW veteran Disco Inferno recently addressed the speculation that AEW will make a substantial offer to a certain current WWE Superstar once his contract expires. This would be SmackDown star Kevin Owens.

The Prizefighter has been with the Stamford-based promotion for around a decade and has re-signed with the company several times. His current deal is said to expire in early 2025. According to reports, Tony Khan plans to make a significant offer and go all out to bring in Owens.

During the latest edition of Keepin' It 100, Disco Inferno said All Elite President Tony Khan has a habit of overpaying wrestlers. This may be what sways Kevin Owens to jump ship to AEW. However, the veteran believed that WWE wouldn't be greatly affected if they weren't able to re-sign him.

"I don't know. I mean, Tony (Khan) obviously is just overpaying everybody...You never know, we'll see. I mean the WWE will be just fine without him" [1:40-2:18]

Jim Cornette believes AEW's offer may be enough for Kevin Owens to stay till he retires

Jim Cornette was another WCW veteran who gave his take on Kevin Owens' next move following the end of his current contract.

During a recent episode of his podcast, The Jim Cornette Experience, Cornette said he believed Tony Khan could put out a large sum of money for the former WWE Universal Champion. He felt he could pay him enough money to consider retiring in AEW.

"He will never work again. He'll retire on what Tony will give him this time," Jim said.

KO has worked with several names on the Tony Khan-led promotion, and with a substantial offer, this may be enough to sway him. However, since he's been with WWE for a decade now, his loyalty may keep him from jumping ship as he has continued to be one of the more popular names on the roster.
