Disgruntled former WWE star calls out AEW management ahead of Dynamite 250

AEW Dynamite 250 is scheduled for later tonight in Little Rock, Arkansas. Unsurprisingly, this show will feature several prominent talents and matches that promise to deliver. Former WWE star Lance Archer has sent a message to All Elite Wrestling's management before the program.

On Dynamite 250, MJF vs. Will Ospreay will lock horns for the International Championship. The TBS Title will be on the line when Mercedes Moné takes on Nyla Rose. Meanwhile, Swerve Strickland will face Kazuchika Okada in a Champion vs. Champion contest.

Apart from the abovementioned matches, Mariah May, who turned heel last week by attacking "Timeless" Toni Storm, will make an appearance on Dynamite. Chris Jericho is also set to be part of the event.

Interestingly, AEW star Lance Archer had something to say about Dynamite 250. The Murderhawk Monster recently quote retweeted a post by the company's official X/Twitter account that showcased the preview for the upcoming show. He seemingly asked the company's management whether they were scared to book him for the program.

"You scared @AEW?" Archer questioned.

Archer's statement could indicate his return. However, nothing has been confirmed as of now. Meanwhile, some fans believe that he is blatantly calling out the Tony Khan-led promotion for the lack of TV time. In the past, he has expressed frustration over his booking numerous times.

Although he has featured on All Elite Wrestling TV this year, his appearances have been brief. Archer last wrestled in AEW on the May 25, 2024, edition of Collision, where he teamed up with The Righteous in a losing effort against Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, and Hiroshi Tanahashi. Following this, he has sporadically appeared in ROH, the promotion Tony Khan purchased in 2022.

Has AEW star Lance Archer considered retirement?

Lance Archer began wrestling in the year 2000 and has had runs in top promotions such as WWE, TNA Wrestling, and NJPW.

In a conversation with WrestlePurists earlier this year, Archer made it clear that he had no intention of retiring right now and felt blessed to be healthy.

"Not for me, not right now. I understand [that] time is undefeated. The song says, ‘Everybody dies,’ and that includes me. But as far as professional wrestling is concerned, right now, I am blessed." Archer said.

Some of Archer's biggest accomplishments are winning the IWGP United States Heavyweight, the IWGP Tag Team, and the NWA World Tag Team titles.
