Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre posted a controversial photograph with AEW star Jack Perry a couple of months ago, drawing an explosive reaction on social media. The Scottish Warrior recently opened up about suddenly deleting the picture.
CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have been engaged in one of the most heated rivalries in WWE since January. Punk, who was part of AEW before his WWE return in November 2023, had a backstage fight with Jack Perry at last year's All In. This led to his eventual termination from the Jacksonville-based promotion. Punk and Perry clearly haven't seen eye to eye since the incident.
In a recent chat with Chris Van Vliet, the former World Heavyweight Champion said he would never reveal the truth behind deleting the controversial photograph with The Scapegoat. McIntyre added that he loved the curiosity behind the move.
“That’s probably back of 100 yards that way. That’s where I live. And yeah, I just do what is fun. And then did someone tell me? Didn’t someone tell me? Was it by design? Did I choose to remove it? I’ll never answer that question, because I love people asking questions.” [H/T: Inside The Ropes]

Drew McIntyre brutally assaulted CM Punk on the latest episode of WWE Monday Night RAW
The Scottish Warrior and The Best in the World faced off in a brutal Strap Match at Bash in Berlin last weekend. McIntyre headed into the match holding a major victory over Punk at SummerSlam. However, CM Punk managed to turn the tables as he successfully defeated McIntyre at Bash in Berlin.
CM Punk also managed to retrieve his bracelet from McIntyre and traveled to Denver for this week's RAW. The former WWE Champion claimed McIntyre was in his rearview mirror and issued a major challenge to World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.
After the promo, Punk fell victim to another ambush at the hands of McIntyre, who took him out with multiple Claymores. The Scotsman also destroyed Punk's bracelet and shoved its beads into his rival's mouth. The Second City Saint was eventually stretchered out of the arena.
It will be interesting to see what stipulation CM Punk versus Drew McIntyre's imminent match has at the returning Bad Blood Premium Live Event in October.
