Dustin Rhodes calls out controversial AEW star; references Dusty Rhodes

Dustin Rhodes recently caused a stir when he called out a controversial star on AEW Collision. In the process, he also referenced his late father, Dusty Rhodes.

The star in question is none other than Jack Perry. The Elite member was away from the company for a long time after he was suspended because of his backstage altercation with CM Punk last year. He made his comeback at Dynasty 2024 and aligned himself with The Elite.

He has since gone on to attack Tony Khan, and in general, has been aiming to wreak havoc on the roster. Dustin Rhodes seemingly had enough of Perry and called him out after his match. Rhodes successfully defeated Johnny TV in a hard-hitting bout on this week's Collision.

After the match, Dustin cut a passionate promo, thanking AEW employees, and then went off on Perry. He said Perry was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and he did not have to work a day in his life. Later, he referenced his father, Dusty Rhodes, with the famous ‘Hard Times’ promo.

Dustin Rhodes also said that Jack Perry will be facing him on next week’s Dynamite. The Natural warned him that he was going to destroy him in the upcoming contest. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top in the much-awaited contest and how this rivalry is going to evolve.
