Dustin Rhodes loses his cool at fan; defends female AEW star

Dustin Rhodes loses his cool at a fan, and defends a female AEW star
Dustin Rhodes is currently signed with All Elite Wrestling

Veteran wrestler Dustin Rhodes lashed out at a bigoted fan for disrespecting a major female AEW star in a display of support for the latter.

Rhodes recently took to X to express his contempt for a fan's transphobic and sexist statements regarding former AEW Women's World Champion Nyla Rose. The fan expressed his disapproval of Rose taking out a number of male wrestlers who were training with ROH Women's World Champion Athena at MPX Wrestling. Rose proceeded to viciously slam the Fallen Goddess through a door.

The fan also shared his objection to the Native Beast - a transgender woman - for wrestling in the women's division of the Jacksonville-based promotion. Dustin Rhodes responded to the former harshly, calling them out for their prejudice in an expletive-laden message.

"You're a f*****g idiot! Go bury your head in the sand and rot, d*****t", Rhodes tweeted.

A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

The Natural's gesture was appreciated by users on X, who joined Rhodes in voicing their solidarity and support for Rose. The latter recently picked up a number of singles victories in ROH over the likes of Zoey Lynn, Vertvixen, and Alejandra Lion.

Dustin Rhodes was last seen on the Homecoming 2024 edition of Dynamite, where he teamed with Adam Copeland, Preston Vance, and International Champion Orange Cassidy to defeat ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions The Mogul Embassy and Lance Archer.

WWE legend announced for AEW Collision; set to make an open challenge

A former WWE legend and top AEW star has been announced to appear on the upcoming episode of Collision and is expected to issue an open challenge on the show.

AEW shared a post on X announcing the appearance of former TNT Champion Adam Copeland on the January 13 episode of Collision, set to emanate from Norfolk, Virginia. The tweet also announced the continuation of the Cope Open, which is what the Rated-R Superstar calls his open challenges to the locker room.

Copeland's prior open challenge was answered by Griff Garrison, who lost to the former via submission on the first Collision of 2024. More recently, the Ultimate Opportunist teamed with Dustin Rhodes, Preston Vance, and International Champion Orange Cassidy to defeat Lance Archer and ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions Brian Cage, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun on the Homecoming 2024 edition of Dynamite at Daily's Place.

Copeland still has unfinished business with TNT Champion Christian Cage, who effectively stole back the title he lost to his longtime partner at the Worlds End pay-per-view.
