"I have been seeing a lot of fans online constantly betting against us(AEW). Remember this.....Instead of b*tching and complaining about every aspect of whichever company, try and realize that the wrestling world right now is on fire. Talent has options instead of 1 place and that is a great thing. Whether you're Independent wrestler or a television wrestler, it is a great time to entertain, via backstage segments, banger matches and a couple hours out of each day where you, the fans can come enjoy different flavors."

Dustin also requested the fans to enjoy wrestling instead of just complaining:

"I love @aew or I wouldn't be here. We have great wrestling with wonderful storylines, and us as talent give a passionate sh*t when performing for you. #JustLoveWrestling and please stop the hatred. Let us have fun doing our job for you. Remember, there's plenty of wrestling to go around. Enjoy."

Dustin Rhodes addressed his first match in AEW

In a recent post on X, Dustin Rhodes recalled his first AEW match against his brother Cody Rhodes at Double or Nothing 2019. The star wrote the following on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of All Elite Wrestling:

"5 yrs ago in this very building @MGMGrandGarden, my brother and I went to war. I was extremely nervous, unsure of myself and unsure how a new wrestling fanbase would accept me. You did, in a big way and because of that, I found my passion again. Because of you fans I am still loving whatever comes my way. Thank you for accepting me, thank you for loving me, and thank you for allowing an older wrestler to do what he loves."

Moreover, Dustin was last seen on an episode of Dynamite where he was defeated by Samoa Joe. Only time will tell what's next for the 55-year-old veteran.
