Dustin Rhodes is expected to re-sign with AEW
Despite having almost retired after his iconic match with Cody Rhodes at AEW Double or Nothing 2019, Dustin Rhodes has become a stalwart within the Jacksonville-based promotion, both on-screen and behind the scenes.
Rhodes has worked with many young talents as a coach, but he's also proved he can still hang with the best in the ring. The 55-year-old is currently an ROH Tag Team Champion (with Sammy Guevara) and Six-Man Tag Team Champion (with The Von Erichs), and he's showing no signs of slowing down.
Many fans have speculated on a potential return to WWE, where Dustin might get one final run alongside his brother, Cody Rhodes. However, according to a recent report, The Natural is expected to re-sign with AEW when his current contract expires.
Dustin Rhodes is in the twilight of his career, but it's clear he still has some gas left in the tank. AEW is heading to Dallas-Fort Worth next year for All In 2025, which will be the promotion's first stadium show in the United States.
