AEW star Dustin Rhodes broke a piece of massive news on social media recently. He is currently holding the ROH World Tag Team Title and is also the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion.
The Natural has been one of AEW's top veterans since the company's inception. During his five-year tenure, he helped multiple stars. He was reportedly negotiating his contract for the past few months after it expired in October 2024. Despite the deal expiring, the star wrestled at Final Battle pay-per-view and retained his ROH World Tag Team Championship alongside Sammy Guevara.
Nevertheless, it seems like the 55-year-old star will be staying in the Jacksonville-based promotion for the foreseeable future. Dustin Rhodes took to X/Twitter and announced that he has re-signed with AEW. He also claimed that he would finish his career in the promotion.
"Today I have signed a new multi yr contract with @AEW. I want to thank my boss @TonyKhan for every opportunity he has given me. Since coming here and being an original since inception, I have truly had the time of my life. Everybody knows my story, and how much I have been through in all my yrs (...) I will finish my career here at #AEW as I feel it is home to me. I have never felt respected and wanted like I have here," he wrote.
