Fans hilariously reacted to a viral photo on social media from the latest edition of AEW Dynamite. The promotion has been struggling to sell tickets and fill the arenas for the last couple of years.
All In pay-per-view had over 50,000 fans at Wembley Stadium, and NOW Arena, where All Out 2024 took place, was nearly a sellout. Despite achieving such success in pay-per-views in terms of audience, the Jacksonville-based promotion hasn't found success in filling venues for weekly shows, Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision.
For those who don't know, when the arenas are half empty, fans are obligated to sit opposite the hard camera so that the TV audience can feel that the venue is full. This often leads to the hard camera side of the arena being empty. Fans on social media often make the photo viral.
A photo from this week's Dynamite has been circulating on social media, showing the entire hard camera side empty. The company sold over 2000 seats when the capacity of the venue was around 24,000.

Fans joked about the Jacksonville-based promotion being a challenger brand to WWE. Many also claimed that the picture reminds them of the pandemic era when wrestlers used to perform in front of empty arenas.

Disco Inferno criticized AEW for a major spot at All Out
This year's All Out pay-per-view was one of the most violent events AEW had done in a while. Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland had a brutal match in the main event of the show. Also, Jon Moxley suffocated Bryan Danielson with a plastic bag earlier on the show.
WCW veteran Disco Inferno recently took to X/Twitter and questioned AEW's decision to show the Moxley-Danielson segment on the event, as it was too extreme.
"Nobody in the back thought suffocating someone was a bad idea?" he asked.
It will be interesting to see if the Jacksonville-based promotion can fill seats for their weekly episodes this year.
