WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff recently made a bold claim while comparing Dominik Mysterio to a top AEW star. The name in question is none other than MJF.
Maxwell Jacob Friedman gained popularity for his incredible character work as a heel. MJF got his exposure after signing with AEW and quickly becoming one of their biggest stars. He is a former AEW World Champion and has worked as a heel for most of his career.
Meanwhile, WWE has also produced one of the biggest heels in Dominik Mysterio. The Judgment Day member has been generating a huge amount of heat from the audience for almost two years. On his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff claimed that Dominik Mysterio is WWE's answer to MJF.
“I like that. Um, Dominik—my God. Like, I’ll be honest, when they first started pushing… I want to say pushing, but when I first saw Dom on WWE TV, I was like, ‘Well, at least he’s getting to experience an opportunity.’ Holy crap, he’s not only experiencing it, he’s so capitalizing on it. He’s so good as a heel. It’s like we were talking about MJF last week—you know, MJF, I think, loves being a heel. Some people do, very few people do, because it goes against human nature, and I think Dominik is WWE’s answer to MJF, especially when it comes to getting heat." [H/T: RingsideNews]

AEW star MJF is currently out of action
MJF lost his International Championship to Will Ospreay at All In due to interference from a returning Daniel Garcia. This led to a heated matchup between both stars at AEW All Out. Friedman successfully defeated Garcia. However, the 25-year-old was the last man standing.
Daniel Garcia launched a brutal attack on MJF after their match and delivered a second rope Piledriver on the former International Champion. MJF needed immediate medical attention and was stretchered out of the arena following Garcia's shocking actions.
It will be interesting to see when The Salt of the Earth will make his return to All Elite Wrestling.
