WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff recently revealed that he does not speak to a major AEW star. The name in question is none other than Jeff Jarrett.
Double J is one of the most experienced veterans still performing at a high level in All Elite Wrestling. He competed in a huge Anything Goes matchup against Bryan Danielson on the recent edition of AEW Dynamite. After a hard-fought battle, The American Dragon managed to defeat Jeff Jarrett and is now looking to dethrone AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland at All In.
On his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff praised Jeff Jarrett's performance in the match but quickly revealed that he does not talk to Jeff Jarrett because of All Elite Wrestling. The former RAW GM is known for being critical of the Tony Khan-led promotion's product.
"I wanted to see Jeff's [Jarrett] match with Bryan Danielson. Hats off, nothing but respect for Jeff. Again, I don't talk to Jeff because he's there in AEW and I don't wanna create any issues or the perception of issues so, I don't talk to Jeff. Conrad talks to Jeff. I like Jeff, like Karen, like Cody but nonetheless, I haven't talked to Jeff." [00:14 - 00:37]

Vince Russo advises Jeff Jarrett to bring former WWE star Ricochet into his AEW faction
Ricochet became a free agent in July after his contract with WWE expired. Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently addressed the situation on Sportskeeda's Writing with Russo and proposed an interesting direction for The One and Only in All Elite Wrestling.
The former WWE Head Writer spoke about Jeff Jarrett's loss in the Owen Hart Foundation tournament and noted how his allies, Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal need to get fired by Jarrett to make way for Ricochet. Russo believes that Jeff Jarrett could lead a faction with Ricochet and other former WWE talent which could get them heat.
"I just saw some stuff online where Jeff Jarrett lost the cup, the Owen Hart Memorial Cup and he was all distraught, this and that. Bro, let Jarrett turn and fire Lethal and Sonjay Dutt because they were never in the WWE. 'You guys pulled me down, man. I tried to raise you up but you were never in the WWE.' Now you do Ricochet and, you know, former WWE, bro, I think that would be huge heat with AEW fans." [6:47 onwards]
Ricochet could possibly arrive in All Elite Wrestling at the All In PPV on August 25. It would be interesting to see how the former United States Champion is booked by Tony Khan.
