Ethan Page reacts to absent AEW star Miro's big announcement

WWE NXT Superstar Ethan Page has commented on Miro's social media update about the latter's professional life. Page and the former TNT Champion previously worked together in AEW.

Miro (fka Rusev) has been away from the ring since the Worlds End pay-per-view in December 2023. At the event, he defeated Andrade in a one-on-one match.

The Redeemer recently uploaded a behind-the-scenes video of himself shooting for a Hollywood movie. On Instagram, he thanked the film's director for casting him and disclosed that he was working with Kevin James. Ethan Page quickly noticed the post and reacted to it with the following message:

'Woah!!! Hell yeah [emoji]," he wrote in the comments section.

Page started his pro wrestling career in 2006 and signed with WWE in May 2024. He previously performed in TNA Wrestling, AEW, and ROH. Meanwhile, Miro had a notable run in World Wrestling Entertainment before inking a deal with the Tony Khan-led organization.

The Redeemer is not the first AEW wrestler to star in a notable film. MJF, Samoa Joe, and Adam Copeland have all tasted success in the entertainment world.

Ethan Page made a unique request to Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes has stirred up a hornet's nest by announcing a 25-man Battle Royal to determine the number one contender for Trick Williams' NXT Championship. Former WWE stars Matt Hardy and Matt Cardona have hinted at returning to the Stamford-based company to compete in the high-stakes bout.

Ethan Page faced Trick Williams for the NXT Championship at Battleground 2024 in Las Vegas and lost. On X/Twitter, Cody Rhodes sent Page a message and hinted at coming to NXT with a gift. In response to the tweet, All Ego made a unique request to the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion.

"If you bring @WWENXT a gift, can it be a new referee ? Thx Champ See you Tuesday," wrote Page.

Page was seemingly referring to his loss to Williams in the tweet. It remains to be seen whether he will receive another shot at the NXT Championship.
