On AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming 2024, Ricochet locked horns with House of Black’s Brody King in the Continental Classic Tournament. This match was hard-hitting and entertaining, and The One and Only ultimately won.

Before the showdown, Renee Paquette interviewed the former WWE star. During the chat, The Human Highlight Reel seemed awkward, and viewers across the globe noticed this. Fans on X/Twitter criticized the 36-year-old's promo skills.

Ricochet hinted at joining The Hurt Syndicate

In the pre-match interview mentioned above, the 36-year-old said the reason he joined All Elite Wrestling was for competition and for locking horns with dominant performers like Brody King.

At the end of the segment, he hinted at joining The Hurt Syndicate.

“This is why I came to AEW, for the competition, and nothing brings that out quite like the Continental Classic. And tonight I have Brody King for the first time. But he’s not Ricochet. We might be one and one right now, but tonight, [checks MVP's card] it’s me who holds all the cards,” said the former WWE star. [H/T: AEW's official website]
