A former WWE star revealed that Jon Moxley was responsible for her signing to AEW. She went on to win the Women's World Championship.

It looked like Saraya's in-ring career was over after suffering a serious neck injury during a match. WWE wouldn't clear her to compete due to the severity of her injury, hence why she shocked the wrestling world when she showed up in AEW after being cleared by the doctors. Since then, she has already accomplished a lot for Tony Khan's promotion and even won the Women's World Championship.

During a recent interview with Izzy on Sports, Saraya credited Jon Moxley with helping her with her AEW signing:

"Jon Moxley actually helped me a lot. One of my best friends is Renee. I'm friends with the hubby, too. He was one of the catalysts and getting me over to AEW as well. He was on the phone with me and stuff like that," she explained. "I was just like, 'I just need help I don't feel confident in myself.' So, that promo with me and Britt [Baker] where I'm being real. I'm talking about real-life stuff. Like yeah, I am sober. Yeah, I was a mess. Yes, the world saw my tapes go on the friggin' internet, just all the struggles that I went through for that year and a half. I was being real."

She continued:

"He was telling me I had to be real. He was just like, 'That's the perfect promo, stop trying to be a character right now and just speak your truth' kind of thing," Saraya continued. "He was helping me with that kind of stuff. He really, really did help me. It made me come out of my shell, and made me feel way more comfortable." [H/T Fightful]

Anthony Bowens says that Jon Moxley wasn't happy after infamous line on Renee Paquette

Max Caster is known to rap about his opponents during his entrance. He makes it a point to mock his opponents during these raps. During one instance, he mocked Renee Paquette's Oral Sessions podcast which didn't sit well with Moxley.

Speaking with Youngstown Studio, Anthony Bowens revealed that he was punished by Moxley for Max Caster's line on Renee:

"The most infamous one was the one with Moxley where Caster brought up Renee and the Oral Sessions podcast. Just worded it a little bit differently. I remember hitting the ring and before I yell the city, I yell AEW. I think I got A out and Moxley, just like a bus, obliterated me. I had no idea that was coming. I just remember screaming, and the next thing I know, I was on the floor. I don't think he liked that line," said Bowens. [H/T - Fightful]
