A very puzzling decision has been made tonight. Two certain former WWE Superstars have been banned from tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite. This was seemingly done in anticipation of chaos later in the night.

The conclusion of the round-robin stages of this year's Continental Classic Tournament (C2) will be taking place tonight. The four men heading to Worlds End will be determined following the last set of matches. Shelton Benjamin has been someone who is a step away from qualifying for the semi-finals, but he'll need to defeat Kazuchika Okada.

Upon arriving at the arena alongside the rest of the Hurt Syndicate, Renee Paquette, EVP Christopher Daniels, and members of the security stopped the former WWE trio. Renee revealed that only Shelton was allowed in the arena, as he had a match with Okada later in the night. MVP and Bobby Lashley were banned.

Out of respect for Paquette, MVP elected to walk away amicably instead of 'hurting people.'

The tournament rules state that interference is not allowed throughout the matches, and any interference will result in immediate disqualification. However, this does not apply to the match's conclusion. Daniels and AEW management want to exercise caution and prevent unwanted incidents.
