On the October 16, 2024 episode of Dynamite, a video package aired in which Chris Jericho accused The Sussex County Chicken of cheating in their ROH World Title bout at AEW WrestleDream 2024, demanding a rematch for the belt. In a backstage interview with Renee Paquette, Briscoe accepted The Learning Tree's challenge for next week's Dynamite, albeit declaring that the match would be a "Ladder War."
It was at that point that FTR entered the scene, reuniting with Briscoe ahead of their match against Big Bill and Bryan Keith. The former WWE NXT, Raw, and Smackdown Tag Team Champions had shared the ring with Mark and his brother, the late Jay Briscoe, in an acclaimed series of matches in 2022 in ROH.

Later on AEW Dynamite, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler defeated Bill and Keith in a hard-hitting match after delivering the Shatter Machine on The Bad Apple.
It remains to be seen what will be next for FTR in All Elite Wrestling and whether Mark Briscoe will retain the ROH World Championship against Chris Jericho next week.
