A wrestling legend lashed out at the producers of the latest "Who Killed WCW" documentary after the release, as he was also a part of the now-forbidden company. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is also one of the producers and appeared on-screen in the documentary.

The wrestling legend in question is the current AEW commentator, Tony Schiavone. Schiavone achieved legendary status in commentary during his time in the WCW in the 1990s, all the way until the end of the company in 2001.

Having seen the rise and fall of the promotion with his own eyes, Schiavone reflected on the recently released documentary series, "Who Killed WCW." The documentary is produced by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Seven Bucks Productions and the creators of the famous "Darkside of the Ring."

Speaking on his What Happened When podcast recently, Tony Schiavone seemingly blasted the producers of "Who Killed WCW" by taking a shot at them while also using some strong words.

A female WWE star said her life is in danger. Details HERE

"The authority is the death of WCW. That program that’s out now, that’s the ultimate authority on everything, those guys who produce that know everything about wrestling. They’re the smartest men in America, they know more about wrestling than I ever did, so who am I to talk bad about them? … F*ck ’em.” [H/T: Inside The Ropes]

The wrestling legend was not keen on watching "Who Killed WCW"

The wrestling legend Tony Schiavone was asked whether he would watch the new documentary before its release. Speaking on What Happened When podcast, Schiavone answered:

"I will not. That one, I won't watch. I have watched some of the 'Dark Side of the Ring' but I won't watch that, because I know what it is - it's a hatchet job, by those guys who are your friends, who consider themselves wrestling fans but they're really not, those producers."

Moreover, the new VICE documentary has been a big topic of discussion since its release. Only time will tell how more veterans react to it.
