MJF and Britt Baker have been the talk of the town after the recent AEW controversy and the fans have pointed out a major thing regarding the two in a recent post made by the company. Both Baker and Friedman are still scheduled to compete at the All In Pay-Per-View on August 25th.
All Elite Wrestling recently revealed that the AEW Dynamite's fifth Anniversary show is headed to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on October 2nd, 2024. However, fans noticed that both MJF and Britt Baker were featured on the poster together. The poster could have been created a couple of weeks before but the timing of the post is alarming due to the recent controversy.
It was recently reported that MJF and his girlfriend Alicia Atout had a heated verbal exchange backstage with Britt Baker seemingly due to the almost an hour-long match between Friedman and Will Ospreay on the 250th episode of Dynamite last month.
On X (formerly known as Twitter), a fan was shocked to see the placement of Britt Baker and MJF on the Dynamite fifth Anniversary poster.
The fans reacted to the post and claimed that the entire thing is a work.
Meanwhile, other fans reacted to the hilarious timing of the post with one assuming that Britt Baker will not be released by the promotion even after the said controversy.
"You can't make this stuff up, the comedy writes itself," a fan tweeted.
"This is assuming that Britt will still be with the company in October," another wrote.
"MJF using coles move, this, I like it so far," this fan posted.
Lexis King warns MJF about potentially leaving AEW to sign with WWE
MJF may be locked in a new deal with All Elite Wrestling but he has openly stated many times before that he will become a WWE Superstar one day. On the Busted Open Radio, former AEW, and current NXT star Lexis King praised MJF but warned him to get ready to throw hands if he decides to come to NXT.
"You got guys like MJF in AEW... he could come here at any time and steal anybody’s spot if he wanted to. I don’t look at different factions as this, that, or the other. Everybody is an opponent or enemy, and if you’re coming to my show to take spots, you’re on my radar. I’m the king of NXT, and this is my domain. If you come here to parade around that TNA flag, you better be ready to get in the ring and throw hands because I’m fighting for my spot, and I don’t care what acronym that is," Lexis King said. MJF is set to defend his AEW American Championship against Will Ospreay at All In in Wembley Stadium. It will be interesting to see if the recent Britt Baker controversy affects the outcome of the title match.
