2024 has proven to be a remarkable year for AEW in terms of talent signings. From Mercedes Mone to Kazuchika Okada, Tony Khan has brought in several renowned talents to the Jacksonville-based promotion this year, and they are expected to lead the company to reach greater heights.
The head booker of All Elite Wrestling recently acquired the services of Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and MVP. The trio have barely spent a month in the Tony Khan-led company, but have already established themselves as valuable assets to the promotion.
Interestingly, a number of stars have parted ways with AEW in 2023-24. While some individuals were frustrated with a lack of creative direction in the company, a few others left the Jacksonville-based promotion to look for bigger opportunities in WWE under the creative leadership of Triple H.
An X/Twitter user recently sparked a discussion in the wrestling community regarding the possible AEW talents who could jump ship to WWE next year. The post generated plenty of interesting comments, with fans giving their opinions on the next possible All Elite Wrestling star who could end up in the Stamford-based promotion in 2025.

One X/Twitter user even wished to see stars like Wardlow, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Hook leave the Jacksonville-based promotion and join the Stamford-based company in the near future.
Another X/Twitter user also expressed his desire to see Orange Cassidy part ways with All Elite Wrestling and sign with WWE in the near future. However, it seems highly unlikely that the 40-year-old star would want to exit AEW, considering the consistent backing he has received from Tony Khan.
The AEW deals of Ricky Starks and The Lucha Bros are up next year
As per recent reports, Ricky Starks' current deal with AEW expires in the spring of 2025. The Absolute is seemingly at odds with the company's management at the moment, as they have not factored him into any creative plans since March 2024.
The Stroke Daddy was recently pulled from his upcoming bookings in Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) by AEW, which has been a point of discussion among fans for the last few days. If Tony Khan does not resolve the ongoing creative disputes with Ricky Starks, the latter will likely leave for WWE once his deal with the Jacksonville-based promotion is up.
The Lucha Bros are also among the top talents who are expected to move on from the Jacksonville-based company. The duo of Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr. was supposed to leave for WWE at the end of their current deals before Tony Khan decided to add injury time to Fenix's contract.
While the 33-year-old star might stay in the Tony Khan-led company for a while, Pentagon Jr. only has a few days left on his deal. It would be interesting to see if the 39-year-old star signs with WWE right away or waits around till Rey Fenix finally becomes a free agent.
