Jon Moxley and his group have been running roughshod on the AEW roster for several weeks now. WWE veteran Bully Ray recently suggested an uncomfortable angle featuring a female member of Moxley's faction that also involves Jon's wife, Renee Paquette.

Marina Shafir joined forces with Jon Moxley when the latter returned to AEW on Dynamite in August. The Problem has since been incorporated into The Blackpool Combat Club and participated in the group's recent carnage against the All Elite roster.

Viewers of AEW programming have observed how Moxley's wife, backstage interviewer Renee Paquette, has not yet properly been factored into The BCC's ongoing storyline.

In a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray suggested that the promotion could capitalize on Paquette's relationship with The Purveyor of Violence by producing a tense interview segment featuring the two, which would also witness the presence of Marina Shafir.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

"I would advertise a sit-down face-to-face. Renee Paquette to interview Jon Moxley. Wow... And the cameras are rolling, and Jon Moxley is sitting there face-to-face with his wife, and Marina Shafir is standing right behind Jon Moxley. How uncomfortable is that shot right there? And Renee can't even get out the first question because she is so distracted by Marina Shafir standing there. And eventually, Renee is able to get it out, and Jon answers, and he answers, very curt.. Yes and no. One-word answers." [7:25 - 8:19]

The WWE veteran added that the segment could take a more personal turn, with Moxley reacting to Renee Paquette confronting him in a hostile manner. Ray argued that the interaction could be captured secretly on a cell phone instead of on cameras to heighten the tension further.

"And in the corner of the room, the cell phone picks up the conversation. 'Jon, what the hell is wrong with you? Why is she always around you? Why are you doing this? And this is not good, this is affecting our family life, this is affecting work, this is affecting everything. Who are you, I don't know who you are anymore..'.. And that's when Jon yells at his wife, create the tension, create the uncomfortable scenarios, set the table for whoever is gonna be the hero down the road." [9:00 - 9:41]

The BCC victimized a retired AEW star on Dynamite

The October 23, 2024, episode of Dynamite saw The BCC once again carry out a huge ambush on All Elite stars Private Party and Daniel Garcia. They did so despite a contingent of babyfaces standing outside the arena waiting for them.

Furthermore, Chuck Taylor, who retired earlier this year, had his neck collared with a steel chair and then stomped on by Claudio Castagnoli under Jon Moxley's instructions. The BCC retreated as Orange Cassidy and other AEW stars rushed to the ring, albeit a little too late.
