A female star has pitched a massive showdown with Bryan Danielson in AEW before he hangs up his wrestling boots for good. The said performer is Willow Nightingale, who's open to facing The American Dragon in an intergender contest.
Danielson had earlier stated that losing at All In 2024 could mark the end of his career. However, since he captured the AEW World Championship at the show, it has been confirmed that he will continue to remain active until his title reign ends. Plus, Danielson also defended his gold successfully at All Out 2024 against Jack Perry.
Considering the bonafide legend he is, many performers want to share the ring with Bryan Danielson before he walks off into the sunset. One among them is Willow Nightingale, who shared her thoughts in a chat with Bill Apter of Sportskeeda Wrestling. The former AEW TBS Champion stated that she would love to wrestle the legendary performer before he calls it quit on his in-ring career.
"I'm a huge Bryan Danielson fan. Obviously, he recently announced his title reign is the end of the line for him. Whenever he loses it, he says it's done. I would wanna be one of those people. That would be cool," said Willow Nightingale. (5:44 - 6:01)

Willow Nightingale doesn't want to defeat Bryan Danielson in AEW
Furthermore, when asked how she would defeat Danielson, Willow Nightingale stated that she would be more than happy to simply get to wrestle him. She explained that facing someone like Bryan Danielson would be a dream come true and that she wouldn't even mind losing to a performer of his stature.
"Some matches are just about having them. Personally, if I was wrestling Bryan Danielson right now, I wouldn't even wanna beat him. I mean that's selfish. He has very good reason to hang up his boots. But I personally wouldn't even want to beat him. I just wanna get in there with him," added Nightingale. (6:15 - 6:35)
With his former Blackpool Combat Club members Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli betraying him at All Out 2024, the stage is set for a memorable feud.
