First match announced for Sting's retirement tour in AEW

AEW veteran Sting faced a challenge in the form of none other than TNT Champion Christian Cage on Dynamite.

On a special night for Sting that saw his long time rival Ric Flair show up for the first time on AEW, Cage wanted to play spoilsport.

While he came out to huge boos from the Philadelphia crowd, that did not appear to faze Cage one bit, as he went on to talk smack to Flair.

Cage said that while The Stinger announced that he would retire after Revolution next year, he wanted to do him a favor by letting him retire early, and challenged him to a tag team match.

Christian then laid out a challenge. He would be joined by Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne, and told the The Vigilante and Darby to get a partner of their choosing for a match at Full Gear next month on November 18th.

What will be interesting to see is who will be the third partner for the WWE Hall of Famer and Allin. With Cage appearing to incense a lot of big names in AEW, it could be anyone that he has been targeting for the last few weeks.
