A former AEW champion sent out a four-word reaction to Tony Khan's huge announcement for Dynamite. This should set the tone for the Wednesday night show.
Powerhouse Hobbs, the star in question, is a former AEW TNT Champion and is one of the most intimidating wrestlers in the Jacksonville-based company. He recently made his return after being out for a long time with an injury.
Tony Khan took to X (fka Twitter) to announce an all-star match involving Ricochet, Powerhouse Hobbs, Will Ospreay, and Mark Davis taking on the Don Callis Family. Hobbs took note of that and responded on the social media website and sent out a defiant four-word message.
“Going to MFn War,” he wrote.

This match will be a big precursor for what is to follow at AEW Full Gear next week. Will Ospreay will be taking on Kyle Fletcher in one of the most anticipated matches of the show.
Jim Ross is a huge fan of AEW star Powerhouse Hobbs
Powerhouse Hobbs is arguably one of the most exciting wrestlers on the AEW roster and has been with the company for a long time. He is very talented and even Jim Ross seems to agree.
The WWE Hall of Famer recently spoke about the star that Hobbs was and hailed Tony Khan for signing him up. Speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, he said:
"Yeah, Hobbs is a star. He’s going to be. I’m anxious to see where he ends up at the end of his run somewhere down the road, he’s a young guy, so he’s still got plenty of time left. I’m a big fan of his and a proponent of his work. I think he can do, he has the ability to be much more significant in the big picture than not. He’s really talented. That was a good signing by Tony Khan."
Hobbs will undoubtedly take the legend's words kindly and see it as a great sign for his future. He will also hope to put out a good showing on Dynamite.
