Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff claimed that a former AEW World Tag Team Champion would have gotten lost if he had made his WWE debut this week. For months, it has been rumored that the star will arrive at the Stamford-based promotion.
The former AEW champion in question is Penta El Zero Miedo. The former All Elite World Tag Team Champion became a free agent after his contract with Tony Khan's promotion expired recently. He has been rumored to join the WWE for quite some time as well. Some hints and teases were also being dropped to fuel the rumors.
Many believed that Penta would officially debut in the Stamford-based promotion on RAW's Netflix premiere episode this week. However, that didn't turn out to be the case. Instead, a vignette was dropped on the show revealing Penta's name, and fans hope to see him on TV next week.
WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff also gave his reaction on Penta El Zero Miedo not making his debut on RAW's Netflix debut episode. Speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Bischoff supported the idea of Penta not making his debut on the Netflix premiere, saying he would've lost in the shuffle on a big show:
"He'll get lost in all the bright shiny objects and celebrities and Gaga, he'll get lost in the middle of that." [43:55 - 44:03]
Triple H teased the former AEW star's WWE debut
During a backstage segment on RAW's Netflix debut episode, Adam Pearce told Chad Gable that he will take on a mystery luchador next week. After the announcement, Triple H was asked who Gable's opponent next Monday is slated to be during the post-show press conference, and he hinted perhaps at AEW star, Penta's debut:
"I'm sure you've already figured it out," said Triple H.
Fans are almost sure that Chad Gable's mystery luchador opponent is going to be none other than Penta El Zero Miedo. It remains to be seen if the debut takes place next week.
