The Blackpool Combat Club has again launched an attack on members of the AEW locker room. Amid the chaos, a former champion showed up but surprisingly walked away from the situation. The name in question is Orange Cassidy.

Last weekend at WrestleDream, the AEW locker room, including Cassidy, was powerless to stop the BCC's attack on Bryan Danielson. They were all left in shock and feeling guilty for not doing more in their attempt to save The American Dragon.
Darby Allin was unreachable after the situation, but Freshly Squeezed was around for several shows this week. At AEW Battle of the Belts XII tonight, Moxley and his faction went after Dark Order and Top Flight. After two successful title defenses, they continued to punish the babyfaces.

Daniel Garcia and Private Party came rushing out from the back, forcing the BCC to escape into the crowd, as they were outnumbered by that point. Orange Cassidy also showed up, but after looking at the situation, he walked back up the ramp.
Cassidy seemed helpless, and while Garcia urged him to fight back earlier tonight on Collision, he couldn't find the drive to do so. It remains to be seen whether the former International Champion makes a move in the coming weeks.

If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
