Former AEW star Mark Henry recently spoke about Bron Breakker's booking in the WWE. The 26-year-old was recently called up to the main roster.
Bron Breakker has had a promising career ever since he arrived on NXT 2.0 in 2021. He is currently a powerful force on WWE Monday Night RAW and has been booked to dominate his competition ever since his arrival on the main roster. Breakker is currently eyeing Sami Zayn's Intercontinental Championship and will seemingly face him at SummerSlam.
Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's senior editor Bill Apter, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry shared his thoughts on Bron Breakker and stated that he should have shorter matches.
"I think he should look like a champion and have shorter matches, not 50-50 matches. If you're better then you're better," he said. [1:43 - 2:00]
Bron Breakker praises WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn
Bron Breakker is currently in a feud with Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship. The former NXT Champion faced Zayn for the title at the Money in the Bank PLE however, suffered a clean loss. The move was bashed by many fans, including veterans, as Breakker has been presented as a strong force on the main roster.
However, Bron Breakker recently broke character to praise the former Undisputed Tag Team Champion. In an interview with Chris Vannini on the Getting Over: Wrestling Podcast, Breakker stated that competing against Sami Zayn was on his bucket list and further expressed his excitement for his future in the Stamford-based promotion.
"It's been great man. I've spent a heck of time and Sami [Zayn] is so good and such a great dude. It's been a pleasure of mine to be able to share the ring with him and you know a bucket list thing for me. Man, I'm just excited for the years to come," Breakker said. [From 01:22:00 to 01:22:20]
