A former AEW star has pleaded with Drew McIntyre to cook and feed Larry to CM Punk. Given their tense past, this should not come as a surprise. The star in question is none other than Joey Janela.
Janela was with AEW from 2019 to 2022 and was the resident bad boy of the promotion. He also has a long and storied history with CM Punk, and they have had their moments over the years.
Drew McIntyre attacked The Second City Saint during the latest episode of SmackDown in his hometown of Chicago and sent a message to him. After that segment, Janela took to X/Twitter to send out a message by saying:
“Drew McIntyre should cook and feed Larry to punk.”

McIntyre was returning the favor to the hometown hero after the latter did the same at Clash at the Castle, where he cost Drew the World Heavyweight Championship match against Damian Priest.
CM Punk seemingly took a shot at AEW on SmackDown
CM Punk was not treated well in AEW. He was unceremoniously terminated from his contract after getting involved in a backstage brawl at All In 2023 with Jack Perry.
It is a known fact that AEW has low crowds, which is ridiculed by fans on the internet. The hard cam side of the arena is usually empty in most of these shows.
Now, Punk has seemingly taken a shot by referencing that during his entrance in his hometown of Chicago on SmackDown last night. He was seen running to the cameraman and moving the camera to the other side to show that there were indeed people there.
People in AEW must have taken notice of that and will not be impressed with what they saw, given that their relationship ended on a sour note.
