A former AEW star gave a sad reaction to WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan getting loud boos on RAW last night. The infamous moment took place on the red brand's season premiere on Netflix.
Joey Janela was a part of the All Elite Wrestling roster from 2019 to 2022. He has been quite active on the independent wrestling scene for the past few years. Janela also gave his thoughts on The Hulkster receiving boos from fans on the latter's RAW return.
During the season premiere of RAW on Netflix last night, Hogan made an appearance for a brief promo to hype up fans in the arena. However, things didn't go as expected for the former WWE World Champion, as he got heavily booed throughout his promo. The moment garnered a lot of reactions on social media and mainstream media as well.

Joey Janela also reacted to Hogan getting booed on RAW. The 35-year-old quoted his post on X (Twitter) in which he had expressed his excitement regarding Hulk's rumored RAW appearance ahead of the show. Janela's excitement died after The Hulkster got booed by the fans.
"Da*n! Hulkamania is dead!" he wrote.

WWE veteran on why Hulk Hogan got booed on RAW
The negative fan reaction to Hulk Hogan garnered comments from veterans of the pro wrestling industry. Former WWE writer Vince Russo explained why The Hulkster received loud boos on RAW last night.
Speaking exclusively on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo stated the following reason as to why Hogan got booed:
"Everybody knows who Hulk Hogan is, like, everybody knows! You didn't have to watch one wrestling show in your life to know who Hogan is. He does have a lot of strikes against him in his career; there is no question about that. And he represented an era of entertainment and not athleticism, and this is not for that crowd. They don't want that entertainment; they don't want this; they think big leg drops s**k. So they are not Hogan people."
Only time will tell if WWE will bring back Hogan in the future after the negative reaction on RAW.
