AEW brought in several former WWE Superstars in 2020 and 2021, and some of them have jumped back over to the Stamford-based promotion with the expiration of their All Elite contracts. WWE Hall of Famer, Mark Henry, recently addressed the possibility of rejoining his former company.

Mark Henry was brought into AEW at Double or Nothing 2021. He made an impact as a backstage interviewer on Rampage and proved to be a positive force backstage. The World's Strongest Man departed the Jacksonville-based promotion in May of this year, but he hasn't yet signed with any other company.

Henry is currently taking the time to focus on his own projects and being present for his son, Jacob Henry, who recently committed to Oklahoma University. Speaking on The Angle with Joey Karni, Henry revealed that he would be open to signing with WWE, but he's wary of being forced into anything he doesn't want to do right now:

"You know what, I’m open to it, but I feel completed. I don’t want to sign with somebody else to not be able to do what I want to do," he said. [H/T: Wrestling Inc]

Mark Henry reveals his current goal after AEW departure

Mark Henry is a legend of the wrestling business, but wrestling itself isn't his focus right now. After his departure from Tony Khan's promotion, the 53-year-old is focusing on several ventures outside the business, including his Strong Kids program.

Henry is focusing on a new generation of young athletes with his new training program. He spoke about it to Sportskeeda Senior Editor Bill Apter:

"I needed time to focus some attention on Mark Henry Strong Kids. My lovechild, if you will, to the world, trying to teach kids how to not only get stronger physically, but get stronger mentally and emotionally, and explain to them how to be strong in willpower and discipline and also teach them how to compete. So, Mark Henry Strong Kids is number one," said Henry.

It's unclear whether the former AEW star will ever return to a major wrestling promotion, but Henry's renowned ability as a talent scout ensures that he'll receive offers in the near future.
