A former AEW star provided an update to fans on her wrestling future after being away from the ring for around eight and a half months. This would be Allie (fka The Bunny).
On May 17, 2010, the 36-year-old had a try-out match with WWE on RAW. She even had a segment with Goldust during the show. She did not end up signing with the company but appeared on ROH, AAA, IMPACT, and eventually AEW.
Allie was one of the originals of All Elite Wrestling, having signed with the promotion before their debut show in 2019. She had a brief solo run before aligning herself as a manager for her husband, The Blade, and his partner, The Butcher. She ended up departing from the company in November last year after a mutual agreement with the promotion.
Allie recently took to Instagram to post about a milestone she hit, which was 19 years of being in the industry. She also took the time to respond to fans' questions regarding her future. She was asked if she would return to wrestling and potentially head to NXT. She did not confirm or deny anything but said:
“Never say never. I’m happy away for now.”

AEW star revealed why a storyline he had with The Bunny was abruptly canceled
Back in 2021, during an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, QT Marshall talked about his brief storyline with The Bunny and why this ended.
In 2020, The Bunny suddenly stopped being a heel as she began a love angle with Marshall. She then became affiliated with The Nightmare Family and became known as Allie.
The AEW star revealed that this ended because the fans did not receive it well. He wondered why, considering it was similar to the beloved storyline in WWE featuring Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell.
"So that was the fans' fault," said Marshall. "That was their fault. The same fans that love Dexter Lumis, who's married in real-life, has a fiancée on NXT, are the same fans that because it was me, they didn't like the storyline. 'Oh, this insults our intelligence'. Okay, but me bouncing off the ropes doesn't insult your intelligence? Come on!"
Marshall continued by saying at the time, he dealt with health issues that kept him away from TV.
Eventually, Allie turned heel and aligned again with The Butcher and The Blade, which was the case until she left AEW. It remains to be seen if she will sign with WWE or not in the near future.
