The Wyatt Sicks are the hottest topic among AEW and WWE fans. The wrestling world has debated and speculated on the new faction for the past week, and now a veteran legend has seemingly jumped on the bandwagon.

Uncle Howdy brought The Wyatt Sicks to WWE RAW last Monday. Fans have tried to link the sinister faction to various happenings in the industry since then, including the mysterious power outage that occurred during The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday. McAfee dismissed the speculation, revealing a clip of his guest, Navy SEAL sniper Jack Carr, taking out an invading drone.

The drone led to fans joking about Matt Hardy potentially coming for McAfee as he is the owner of Vanguard-1, the drone from his "Broken" world. The former WWE and AEW star responded today, teasing one of his Deletion spectacles for The Pat McAfee Show. Hardy included a clip of the RAW commentator taking a kendo stick over the back during the 2019 Extreme Rules Watch Along:

"The @PatMcAfeeShow DELETION?," Matt Hardy wrote with the clip below.

McAfee has not responded to Hardy as of this writing. It seems as if the current TNA star was looking to benefit from the virality of The Wyatt Sicks.

Matt Hardy makes interesting remarks on AEW

The Hardy Boyz are no longer with All Elite Wrestling. Matt Hardy signed with the company in mid-2020, while Jeff Hardy joined him in early 2022. Matt left this past April after his contract was not renewed, and then Jeff departed the company earlier this month for the same reason.

Speaking to Busted Open Radio, Broken Matt recently recalled how successful WrestleCon 2024 during WrestleMania XL Weekend was for him and his brother. He also took a slight jab at AEW.

"Look, we have incredible star power. If you were at Wrestlecon in Philadelphia, it was outrageous how much we signed, how many people that were there to see us. We have fans coming up crying to us like it’s 2000 all the time. But I feel like AEW is more focused on having a five-star match as opposed to having a segment that is hugely impactful and makes a moment," Matt Hardy said.

Matt returned to TNA with his Broken gimmick in late April. Jeff then made his surprise return at Against All Odds earlier this month.
