A certain former AEW name has hinted at his next move, as he is officially still a free agent. The star has once more hinted at potentially joining WWE. This would be Jose the Assistant.
During his time with the Tony Khan-led promotion, he served as the manager for La Facción Ingobernable and worked with the likes of Andrade and Rush. However, in April this year he was released by the company despite being with them since 2021.
On X/Twitter, Jose the Assistant dropped a cryptic post amidst his time as a free agent. He talked about time ticking away and it getting closer to what was next for him. His post seemed to be a play on words, as the letters N, X, and T were in capital letters, seemingly a hint at joining the brand.
"Time tick tick tick tick tick tick ticks away, but it only brings once one, step, closer to what is NeXT. I can wait, but how soon is SOON?" Jose posted.

The former AEW manager is open to managing a recent WWE signing
Jose the Assistant recently replied to a fan as they had an idea regarding a role that he could assume. This would be him serving as the spokesperson of a major WWE Superstar Stephanie Vaquer.
The former CMLL star shockingly ended all her commitments with the luchador promotion and NJPW as she accepted an offer from WWE. This was effective immediately and Shawn Michaels himself made the announcement.
On X, a fan replied to one of Jose's tweets and claimed that he should serve as her mouthpiece. The former AEW name did not turn down the idea and told him that he should ask WWE about that instead.
With Stephanie Vaquer seemingly headed to NXT to start her time with the company, Jose could emerge as a perfect candidate to be her spokesperson and manager, considering how English is not her first language.
This may make her out to be a more effective superstar and would be the perfect way to bring in the former AEW manager.
