A former Intercontinental Champion has confessed that he's a fan of MJF and said the former AEW World Champion looks like a "million bucks".
Matt Cardona made a name for himself in WWE, where he wrestled under the ring name Zack Ryder. During his time in the Stamford-based promotion, Cardona grew to become one of the most beloved and genuine WWE stars on the roster. He also won several titles including the Intercontinental Championship. Despite his popularity, he was eventually released from the company.
Matt Cardona went on to wrestle for several independent promotions where he has established himself as the Indy God. Cardona recently did an interview with Fightful where he confessed to being a fan of MJF.
“He looks great.” Looks like a million bucks. Lean, but still jacked, which is very hard to do. He’s got that chest-stomach hair coming in good. Looks like a young Hugh Jackman. Looks great.”
He also offered Maxwell Jacob Friedman some tanning tips:
“I love MJF. I think he’s fantastic. I do question his tanning abilities sometimes. Wear some gloves, dude. I don’t know if he’s getting sprayed at a place or if he’s doing it himself, but if he’s doing it himself, here’s what I do; I wear gloves. When you’re tanning yourself, it gets in your nails and all over your hands. I wear gloves, I rub everywhere, and I take the gloves off so my hands are nice and clean. Then I spray the hands by themselves. It comes out way nicer. A little tip.”
Bully Ray thinks MJF might have suffered a legitimate injury on AEW Dynamite
Maxwell Jacob Friedman is currently involved in a program with RUSH. The two men traded blows throughout the arena this week and following the brawl, Friedman was seen with an ice pack on his hand during the main event match.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray stated that Maxwell might've suffered a legitimate injury during his brawl with RUSH.
"At one point during the brawl, it looked like Max hurt his hand and I guess I was right because later on in the night they showed Max backstage I believe during the main event with ice in his hand, whether he was working or not I am not sure, I think he legitimately hurt his hand 'cause I saw him go limp in the segment during one of the pull apart." MJF will compete for the first time since his return next week on Dynamite against RUSH.
