A former WWE employee has shared how Vince McMahon wanted to be perceived backstage. The former CEO was known to have a very intimidating presence.
The star in question is none other than Matt Hardy. Hardy had a great run in WWE where he won numerous titles, including the tag team title 10 times. He then had a stint in TNA and AEW. After leaving All Elite Wrestling, the star has once again landed himself in TNA. He spent his best years under Vince McMahon and saw firsthand how he was the boss behind the scenes.
Hardy was speaking on his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast when he said that he thought Mr McMahon wanted people to be intimidated by him.
"I think he wanted people to know he was the boss. I think he wanted people to be half-a** intimidated by him, and I think he wanted people to be nervous around him. And I think he enjoyed that power." [H/T Wrestling Inc]

WWE personality Titus O’Neil will forever be grateful to former boss Vince McMahon
As Vince McMahon left WWE under a dark cloud, many people who worked under him were not happy about the news that came out. However, Titus O’Neil has given a different take and said that he is forever grateful to his former boss.
O’Neil, who retired as an in-ring performer, is now a global ambassador for the company and spoke with US Weekly regarding Vince McMahon.
"At the end of the day, what he built cannot be erased. It’s sad that the situation came to what it came to, but I don’t have any bad words for Vince. It’s very interesting to hear different perspectives on things, but at the end of the day, I’ll forever be grateful for what Vince McMahon built, the platform that he built for so many people. He’s human, just like anyone else."
Vince McMahon left WWE for one final time after a lawsuit filed against him by former employee Janel Grant came to light.
