The Hurt Syndicate has officially invaded AEW. Montel Vontavious Porter and Shelton Benjamin debuted weeks back, then Bobby Lashley arrived last week. Now that the faction has reunited in AEW, fans are speculating on future members and plans. One veteran star says a certain top All Elite wrestler should not join the faction, and that goes for a rumored signing as well.
The All-Mighty debuted on AEW's Fright Night Dynamite last week, right after The Gold Standard's loss to Swerve Strickland. After reuniting as The Hurt Syndicate, Lashley joined Benjamin and MVP in a beatdown of The New Flavor and manager Prince Nana. The segment drew in a major way for AEW, while fueling rumors on what's to come from the latest addition to the faction-heavy All Elite roster.
The One And Only is rumored to bring his 35-year-old fiancée to AEW in a managerial role, which many industry insiders also expect. On the latest episode of The Wrestling Outlaws from Sportskeeda Wrestling, host Dr. Chris Featherstone asked Vince Russo and EC3 if they see Irvin and Ricochet joining The Hurt Syndicate, which has been teased. The former Vic Venom was straight-forward in his sixteen-word response:
"No. If she manages him, he doesn't need to be a part of The Hurt Syndicate," Vince Russo said. [From 1:38 to 1:43]

Featherstone said he's all for the stable addition, making the case for why Ricochet should finally turn heel, which would be just the third significant heel turn for the 21-year industry veteran. Russo responded with more praise for the former American Idol participant, noting that she could be tremendous as a manager:
"Well, bro, if she puts any type of energy into managing... she'd be tremendous," Vince Russo said. [From 1:58 to 2:04]
Russo then revealed how he just exchanged private messages with Irvin. The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion added that if she was that good as a ring announcer in WCW while he was there, he would have let her try other roles if she wanted to. EC3 agreed that Irvin has immense talent, and he also could see her joining AEW because of Ricochet.
