During the go-home show ahead of AEW Full Gear this week, fans were treated to the debut match of a former WWE Champion on Dynamite. This ended up being a squash match, as expected.

Bobby Lashley was originally set to wrestle his debut match at the pay-per-view against Swerve Strickland. However, in a shocking turn of events, MVP announced that The All Mighty would be in action tonight on AEW Dynamite. This may be meant as a preview of the hurt that he will be bringing this weekend.
Lashley was in action in a Two On One Handicap against Joe Keys and ROH icon Cheeseburger. It was everything fans would have expected from a wrestler of his caliber, as he showed his sheer dominance throughout the match.

At a point in the match, he was able to plant Cheeseburger, but out of nowhere, Joe Keys arrived to break the pin. He tried to bring the fight to Bobby Lashley, but this did not faze him.
The former WWE Superstar retaliated with a bunch of powerful shots, a spinebuster, and the Hurt Lock for good measure. The referee had to call off the match.
This could be a preview of the fate of Swerve Strickland this weekend at AEW Full Gear. Fans should stay tuned to see whether this will indeed be the case.

If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
