A former WWE Champion's potential arrival at a major promotion may have been hinted at on a recent show. The star in question is Jeff Hardy.
The Charismatic Enigma has been signed with All Elite Wrestling since 2022, although several fans consider his run in the promotion creatively underwhelming. Hardy, who has been out of action since February, is reportedly expected to leave AEW and potentially join his brother Matt Hardy in TNA.
The Broken One is set to challenge Moose for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Against All Odds 2024 on June 14. On the episode of IMPACT prior to the event, The System visited the infamous Hardy Compound. At the start of the segment, the members of the faction were seen standing outside the compound in front of a wall with graffiti of faces painted on it.
Alisha Edwards wondered out loud who made the graffiti, prompting Moose to guess that it had most likely been created by former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy, although he would promptly be interrupted by Brian Myers. Eddie Edwards then ushered the group into the compound, and the segment continued.
It remains to be seen whether Jeff will be involved in Matt's upcoming title match at Against All Odds 2024.
WWE legend Matt Hardy believes The Hardy Boyz are not done yet
The Hardy Boyz are universally considered as one of the greatest tag teams in all of pro wrestling. They are known primarily for their groundbreaking work in WWE, where they held Tag Team gold several times. However, Team Xtreme has also found considerable success in many other promotions, including TNA and ROH.
Matt Hardy has been outspoken about wanting to finish his career with his brother, Jeff. The Hardy Boyz may potentially reunite in TNA as The Rainbow-Haired Warrior may soon depart from AEW.
Taking to his Instagram, Matt Hardy recently shared a video edit of The Hardys. Reflecting on their career as a tag team, the former WWE US Champion hinted that they had more to offer in pro wrestling.
"It’s been a helluva run! And we’re not done yet!"
Fans are keen to find out whether and where the former RAW and SmackDown Tag Team Champions will join forces and re-form their team once again.
