Lio Rush is one of the most promising prospects in professional wrestling at present. He made a name for himself on the independent scene due to his quick offense in the ring. He also wrestled for WWE a few years ago where he won the Cruiserweight Championship.
Since his WWE release, Lio Rush returned to the indie scene where he has been proving himself. Over the past few months, Rush has made a few appearances on AEW TV and was even seated ringside at WrestleDream 2024.

Following the show, Lio Rush confirmed that he had signed with All Elite Wrestling. However, he was soon interrupted by MVP and Shelton Benjamin who were looking for Tony Khan. Rush didn't appreciate being interrupted and he confronted The Hurt Syndicate.
The veteran then asked him if he was free Wednesday and Rush said he was. This could mean that MVP had ideas for a match on Dynamite.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
