A former WWE Diva recently talked about wanting to be affiliated with the Undisputed Kingdom in AEW. She also currently has a long-standing relationship with its members. This would be Maria Kanellis.

Kanellis previously managed her husband Mike Bennett and his tag team partner Matt Taven when they were known as The Kingdom in ROH. The duo ended up partnering up with Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, and Wardlow to form the Undisputed Kingdom, but their former manager has not been seen with them since.

On Twitter, a fan asked Maria Kanellis why she was not involved with the faction, seeing as it would have been fitting to have her there. She responded, seemingly also confused with the situation. It seemed like she was in the dark as well.

"Yeah me too," the former WWE Diva replied.

Maria Kanellis talked about possibly making a return to the ring for the first time since 2019 in WWE

Maria Kanellis has not competed in the ring since 2019, when she and her husband were with WWE. But she has previously talked about being open to the idea.

At a Monopoly Events Q&A two months ago, she was asked whether she was intending to ever return to the ring. She revealed that several AEW stars have asked the same question, naming the likes of Deonna Purrazzo, Queen Aminata, and Toni Storm as potential opponents.

She also revealed that her daughter wanted to see her in the ring as well. She mentioned that this could definitely happen, but she did not want people to have high expectations for the match.

"It's tough because there have been a few women in AEW that have asked. Deonna [Purrazzo] would be a good choice. Queen Aminata has said, 'Come on, we're both mothers, let's do this.' Queen is such an inspiration and that would be awesome. Toni [Storm], for sure. There are too many. There is a lot. It's tough because my daughter wants to see me wrestle one more time. At some point, maybe I'll do it, but I can't guarantee it'll be good," she said. [H/T - Fightful]

The former WWE Diva could end up aligning with the Undisputed Kingdom and serving as their female presence. This would allow her to continue to help her husband, and she could be a great addition to their ranks, serving as their spokesperson, negotiation, and anything of the sort.
