Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Dustin Rhodes has made a special request to AEW President Tony Khan. He wants to participate in a match that is scheduled to take place on Collision this week.
Thunder Rosa and Deonna Purrazzo have been feuding for a while. The rivalry started on the April 27 episode of AEW Rampage. Purrazzo and Rosa had a singles match on the show, which the latter won. After the contest, the former TNA Wrestling star brutally attacked Rosa, turning heel in the process.
La Mera Mera and The Virtuosa are set to lock horns on this week's edition of Collision in a Texas Bull Rope Match.
On his X/Twitter account, Dustin Rhodes recently hyped up the upcoming match between the two female stars on Saturday. He also put in a special request to Tony Khan to make him the guest referee for the contest.

Former WWE star Dustin Rhodes calls out ECW legend Tommy Dreamer
In a recent interview on the Busted Open podcast, Tommy Dreamer said Dustin Rhodes wouldn't be on television if he were part of WWE because the Triple H-led pro wrestling promotion was known to push younger talents over older ones on TV.
The Natural wasn't pleased to hear Dreamer's comments about him and called him out on social media. He asked the ECW legend why he thought the Stamford-based company would not feature him on TV. Rhodes added that he had been doing well and his segments' ratings were also consistent.
Rhodes further mentioned that he had been doing the best work of his life in AEW and loved helping younger talent. The veteran claimed that he had earned the right to be on television and had been passionate about pro wrestling since the very beginning of his career.
