WWE veteran Jim Cornette has shared his honest thoughts about Jon Moxley's AEW run. The Death Rider is the current All Elite Wrestling World Champion.
Since his return to AEW a couple of months ago, Jon Moxley has been causing havoc in the promotion. He turned on his best friend Bryan Danielson and formed The Death Riders faction consisting of PAC, Marina Shafir, and his former Blackpool Combat Club stablemates, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta. Moxley also defeated Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Title at WrestleDream and is on the top of the Jacksonville-based promotion.
In the recent edition of The Experience podcast, Jim Cornette slammed Jon Moxley for thinking of himself as a main-eventer. He called the takeover storyline stinky and claimed that it didn't make any sense.
"The stunning baffling amount of sh*t that he's full of, that he thinks he's an attraction, a talent, a main event superstar that can carry the rag tag band of misfits with him and the entire company on his wide shoulders and carry them to the promised land by resetting everything. The reset is as stinky as the nonsensical booking that has led up to it. They've been taking over more times than the god*mn banana republic in South America." [2:10 - 2:54]

Tommy Dreamer questions why fans cheered for Jon Moxley on AEW Dynamite
On the recent episode of AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley cut a heated promo on Orange Cassidy ahead of their World Title match at Full Gear later this month. The fans cheered for Moxley during the promo and WWE veteran Tommy Dreamer seemingly has a problem with that.
Speaking on the Busted Open After Dark podcast, Tommy Dreamer noted that the promo was heelish and questioned why the fans cheered for the bad guy afterward.
"If I could go back to the Moxley promo. This promo was a generic bad-guy promo. All the stuff he's going to do to Orange Cassidy who's the beloved babyface. I'm gonna beat you up. You're mom's not gonna recognize you. I'm gonna hurt you. I'm gonna do all this stuff. And then his promo ends and they cheer. I'm like, 'Wait, what?'"
We will have to wait and see if Jon Moxley is able to retain the World Title against Orange Cassidy at Full Gear.
